HERE I COME.
The phrase “On the Rebound” is often heard on the court. [Or, sometimes to describe the period of time after a breakup when we tend to make questionable decisions🤪].
But, I like to see it/use it as a positive phrase. To describe a…moment of momentum in life. Like a slingshot, you know?
“Yea, I lost my job - but I’m on the rebound, actively looking for a better one.” “I injured my knee last month, but I’ve been going to physio and I’m definitely on the rebound.”
Rebounding from any and all adversity that may come our way. Using struggles or even “rock bottom” as a trampoline, to rebound to a new and improved circumstance.
Again, I partnered with an incredible female artist [ @muralmule ] to bring my vision to reality - and she nailed it. The hippo is our company mascot (Hewie), and he’s featured with trying basketball. Meant to symbolize those of us that actively choose to see tough times a lot less like quicksand, and a lot more like a springboard.🙏
The shirt itself is an oversized, heavyweight (250gsm) crewneck t-shirt with dropped shoulders. It has a light vintage stone wash and light distressing (so it looks like your dad’s old tee - not your grandpa’s). Oh, and it’s made with 100% organic cotton, too.
This shirt is NO.005 of 5 in the hippo collection. There was only 150 of these shirts made, and there will never be more.
